New Creative Director for Gap Personal Care

McNatton and firm to revamp collection's image

Inter Parfums Inc. has appointed Gary McNatton and his team at his consulting firm, Through Smoke Creative of Sausalito, Calif., as its creative director for Gap personal care products.

According to the company, in his new post, the team  will provide creative direction for the Gap brand, which is licensed to produce and market personal care products and fragrances for Gap Inc.

Inter Parfums noted that McNatton has had a long association with Gap Inc., having served as its senior vice president for personal care products for eight years, until 2002.

McNatton, who has won numerous Fragrance Foundation FiFi awards — including two for Gap fragrances — will see his first creation as part of his new role, a new Gap scent called Close, make its debut in all Gap stores on April 23.
